More than
a workout

Every class is built on our three values, so kids leave with more than fitness.

Confidence

Kids push through something hard with their mates beside them, and learn they can do difficult things.

Focus & discipline

Listening, waiting their turn, repeating a skill until it’s right. Structure that carries over into school.

Respect

Look after your training partner. Skills are for the gym, and kindness is for everywhere.

Real skills

Proper stance, punches, kicks and defence, plus coordination and fitness from games and pad work.

“A huge influence on mine and my four children’s lives. My sons are neurodivergent and Eddie has been incredibly supportive and inclusive.”

S. Holcroft · Member & mum of four

The whole family trains every week, with real progress in self-esteem, self-discipline and mindfulness.

Parent
questions

Anything not covered here, call Eddie on 022 089 0827.

What age can my child start?

From 6. Kids 6–9 train at 4:00pm and kids 10–12 at 5:00pm, every Monday and Wednesday, so each child trains with others their size and stage.

Do they need any experience?

None. The kids classes suit all levels, including complete beginners.

Is kickboxing safe for kids?

Kids classes are structured and closely coached, with the focus on technique, pad work, fitness and games. [CONFIRM WITH EDDIE: is there any contact or light sparring in kids classes, and what protective gear is used?]

Will it make my child more aggressive?

The gym runs on Courage, Honor and Fraternity. Kids learn self-control and to look after their training partners, and that skills stay in the gym.

My child is neurodivergent. Will they fit in?

Talk to Eddie about your child’s needs before the first class. Families with neurodivergent kids already train here and describe the gym as supportive and inclusive.

Can my child try a class first?

Get in touch and we’ll book them in. [CONFIRM WITH EDDIE: is the first kids class free?]

Can parents train too?

Yes, and plenty do. Adult Basics runs at 6:00pm on the same days, straight after the kids classes. Adult kickboxing classes.
